Just a quick one today

Telling someone with fibromyalgia that "everyone has aches and pains" is like telling a hemophiliac "everyone bleeds when they get a cut".

I've been told that very thing, verbatim, so it's so nice to hear this. Thank you!

Oh Sweet Jebus!!!!!

I've a baseball bat that is not being used at the moment if you need to borrow it to give people a clue lesson.

i usually lurk here, but i just had to comment, this post made me laugh. perhaps inappropriately, and not at you, but at the fools that populate this world. why do people say stupid things??

That may be worse than telling a bipolar person that "everyone has bad days sometimes" (which my ex-mother in law used to say all the time)

Telling someone with Hyperacusis, that they are overreacting to sudden loud noise, telling them that everyone has aches and pains. Is like telling a hemophiliac that everyone bleeds when they get a cut.

Yep. And on a similar note, lupus is not made better by the notification that "Well, I'm tired too!"
