It is the only feed on which I check the comments and can respond to them. However, I would like to express that, due to the wonky nature of the LJ syndicated feeds, the posts disappear after a while, taking your comments (and our discussion) with them, so commenting directly on the blog post will have a greater likelihood of me seeing and responding.
Additionally, if you are only reading an LJ feed, consider visiting the blog itself occasionally and taking a look at the right-hand column, as there are things there that help me out. Thank you for reading!
Edited to add: If you are interested in getting to know me better as a person, my personal LJ is mostly friends-only, so leave me a comment if you want to be added--the username is botia. I will pretty much add anyone who isn't a fat-hater, although I'd probably be too embarrassed to add my mom. Trust me, mom, you don't want to know. And if you ask, I'll tell you, and then you'll tell me to "Stop it! Stop it! I can't hear you! LALALALALALA!" Because you have more shame than I do.
